New LEVELROCK Brand Floor Underlayment PROFLOW Delivers Industry-Leading Strength for High-Traffic Commercial Use

Product Can Be Used As a Decorative Finished Floor Surface

LEVELROCK® Brand Floor Underlayment PROFLOW™, new from the Industrial Products Division of United States Gypsum Company, is the highest-strength gypsum underlayment ever introduced and the first gypsum-based product that can be used as a decorative finished floor in retail, office and other heavy-use commercial applications.

The self-leveling product delivers an industry-leading compressive strength range of 6,000 to 8,000 psi. It provides a smooth, hard underlayment surface over concrete slabs, pre-stressed concrete or concrete planks at thicknesses from featheredge to 1 inch. It will not flake or powder and can typically be installed more quickly and more economically than conventional portland cement-based underlayments.

ceramic tile, wood laminate, hardwood and vinyl. It exceeds commercial vinyl floor covering requirements and, thanks to its exceptional surface hardness, eliminates concerns about indentation.

LEVELROCK Brand PROFLOW requires less surface preparation than competing products and its quick set times and high production rates allow for continued trade traffic within hours of installation, speeding overall job completion.

When used as a finished floor, LEVELROCK Brand PROFLOW must be covered with a coating system approved by U.S. Gypsum Company. The LEVELROCK Brand PROFLOW surface is stronger and more crack-resistant than other cement-based finished floors, ensuring long-term, maintenance-free performance. It may be decorated in an unlimited range of colors and patterns.

The product is also lighter than competing products. A ½-inch-thick LEVELROCK Brand PROFLOW floor weights only 5.4 pounds per square foot and has a density of only 130 per cubic foot.
